Zero-Tolerance to Sexual Harassment Statement
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards
of integrity, safety and respect for all our employees. As part of this
commitment, we enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy on sexual harassment.
This statement applies to anyone who interacts
with our employees, including National Tennis Associations and Federations,
their staff, officials, contractors and any affiliated personnel.
Definition of
sexual harassment
Sexual harassment is any unwelcome conduct of a
sexual nature that makes a person feel offended, uncomfortable, humiliated
and/or intimidated. Actions constituting harassment may be physical, verbal or
non-verbal. Harassment can be both intentional and unintentional.
Prohibition of
sexual harassment
All forms of sexual harassment are prohibited,
whether they take place on our work premises, off-site such as at tennis
tournaments and events or online such as by email or via social media, or by
phone.
Examples of
sexual harassment
Examples of sexual harassment include, but are
not limited to:

Whistling, flirting, or making sexual suggestive
gestures
·
Making sexual remarks about someone's body,
clothing or appearance
·
Telling sexually offensive jokes
·
Making sexual comments or jokes about someone's
sexual orientation or gender reassignment
·
Asking intrusive questions about someone’s
private life
·
Making sexual advances
·
Showing or sending offensive or pornographic
material by any means
·
Unwanted invitations for physical intimacy or
dates
Any of the above includes but is not limited to
online communication.
·
Unwelcome physical contact such as inappropriate
touching, patting, stroking, kissing or hugging
·
Physical violence such as sexual assault.
Sexual harassment can involve a single or
multiple incidents and may constitute criminal offences under local relevant
legislation that will be referred to the authorities for investigation.
Our expectations
of third parties
We expect all third parties to uphold the same
standards of professionalism and respect that we require for staff. Therefore,
we require you to brief your employees, officials, contractors, suppliers and
affiliated personnel accordingly.
We encourage our staff to report incidents of
sexual harassment to their line manager, including by third parties. We take
all reports of sexual harassment seriously and will take immediate action,
which may include:

Warning third-party employee(s)/representative(s)
about the inappropriate nature of their behaviour
·
Notifying the third-party employer of the
incident
·
Removing the third-party
employee(s)/representative(s) from site, whether temporarily or permanently
·
Reporting the incident to the local police or
authorities
Regular review
This statement will be reviewed regularly to
ensure that it remains effective and up to date with current laws and best
practice.
